KUALA LUMPUR: Netherlands-based Detroit Electric Ltd is looking to focus on the rollout of its electric cars in Europe and US rather than Asia given the significant tax break and readily available infrastructure in the developed markets, said its strategic programme office executive vice-president FM Chong.
The company has pegged a sales target of 30,000 electric vehicles in the first year of the launch, followed by 120,000 and 270,000 units in the second and third year, respectively.
