That is the conclusion we can draw from an announcement made this morning by aluminum giant Alcoa and Phinergy, an Israeli firm specializing in zero-emission metal-based technologies. The partnership between the two companies led to the development of an electric car capable of traveling about 1 600 kilometers without needing to be charged.
