The Electric Circuit is growing in Eastern Québec – The city of Gaspé joins the vast network of public charging

MONTREAL, Jan. 14, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ – The founding partners of the Electric Circuit—Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert, RONA, METRO, the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) and Hydro-Québec—are pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with the city of Gaspé for the installation of a first public charging station for electric vehicles in spring 2014.

“We are proud of this socially and environmentally responsible partnership,” said Mayor Daniel Côté. “This charging station will be an incentive to purchase greener, more environmentally-friendly vehicles. This new service for our residents and tourists alike is a great step forward.”

“We are delighted to welcome the city of Gaspé to the Electric Circuit,” said Pierre-Luc Desgagné, Vice President – Public and Government Affairs at Hydro-Québec, on behalf of the founding partners of the Electric Circuit. “This new partner will allow the Electric Circuit to continue its expansion in Eastern Québec, benefiting all electric vehicle drivers.”
