>Position Summary:
>The Bay Area Climate Collaborative (BACC) is looking for a highly
>qualified candidate to fill our BACC Program Manager position. The
>Program Manager is responsible for advancing select BACC action
>areas under the direction of the BACC Executive Director. Primary
>area of emphasis is electric vehicles. Other areas include energy
>efficiency and potentially solar energy.
>
>Primary Responsibilities:
>* Provide broad leadership to advance BACC’s mission including
>substantive input on BACC strategic direction to BACC Executive
>Director and Steering Committee.
>* Develop and execute strategy on select action areas including
>project management, budgeting and coordinating with partners
>including the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, governments, business
>and non-profits.
>* Provide strategic direction on electric vehicle program including
>integration and growth.
>* Lead strategic partnership development to create program impact
>and financial resources to support execution from government (ex:
>CEC, AQMD, etc.), business (ex: sponsorships), and philanthropic
>partners (ex: Energy Foundation, etc.).
>* Provide subject matter expertise to inform program direction
>including staying current on relevant clean energy and greenhouse
>gas reduction initiatives and resources at the local, regional,
>state and national levels. Produce white papers as needed.
>* Serve as public spokesperson including developing talking points,
>producing op-eds, speaking with reporters.
>* Report on project progress and solicit direction from senior
>stakeholders such as the EV Strategic Council and BACC Steering
>Committee, as needed.
>* Identify, recruit, coordinate and collaborate with senior
>stakeholders, subject matter experts and partners. Coordinate and
>facilitate BACC taskforces and executive meetings.
>* Perform other planning and management duties, as assigned.
>Required Qualifications:
>* BA/BS degree with a minimum of five years experience in program
>environmental program development or equivalent experience,
>especially in clean energy, including electric vehicles.
>* Five years experience in program management, budgeting, and
>program implementation.
>* Excellent organizational development, strategic planning,
>management and problem solving skills.
>* Excellent writing, speaking and analytical skills.
>* Computer proficiency in MS-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
>* Ability to travel throughout the region to attend meetings and functions.
>

>Additional Preferred Qualifications:
>* Advanced degree or equivalent experience in program management,
>environmental studies, or business.
>* Experience with electric vehicle ecosystem issues.
>* Experience in non-profit management and fundraising.
>* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex partnerships.
>* Strong preference given to candidates that have Bay Area contacts
>in the municipal, business and non-profit sectors in the areas of
>climate change and clean energy, especially electric vehicles.
>
>Work Week:
>Monday – Friday, with evenings and weekends as needed. Work at home
>flexibility available.
>
>Compensation:
>Full-time contract position (1099). Compensation commensurate with
>qualifications and experience.
