TRURO – Three Colchester area applicants have been awarded grants totalling $40,500 through the latest round of the Nova Scotia Moves program.
Through Nova Scotia Moves, the province offers grants of up to $200,000 to groups supporting sustainable transportation at the local level, including municipalities, band councils, community benefit organizations and social enterprises.
The local applicants receiving grants include:
1) Nova Scotia Electric Vehicle Highway Services, based in Tatamagouche – awarded $23,000 for an Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Station at the Truro Power Centre as well as a Provincial network of 12 new charging stations.
