Sustainable transportation money for Kings County projects

Three Kings County projects are receiving grants from the Nova Scotia Moves program.

The sustainable transportation grants announced Aug. 30 are part of $179,450 for six Annapolis Valley applicants.

Municipality of the County of Kings and Town of Wolfville will receive $110,625 to develop the Greenwich Rail Trail between New Minas and Wolfville.

Eco-Kings Action Team will receive $3,800 to do a feasibility study on a rapid transit service between the Annapolis Valley and Halifax Regional Municipality.

Kings Transit will receive $2,525 for marketing studies and enhanced branding
