This state-of-the-art vehicle provides a glimpse into the future of transportation here in Korea and perhaps even the world.
The eco-friendly car aims to minimize its footprint environmentally as well as on the streets, with purely electric motors and a body that’s able to fold in half.
Dubbed the Armadillo-T after the animal it mimics, the vehicle weighs less than 500 kilograms and measures just over 1.6 meters in length when folded, which allows for three of them to occupy a typical parking space.

The ultra-compact car was developed by Professor Seo In-soo and his research team at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology, or KAIST.
Seo claims that the vehicle can reach up to 60 kilometers an hour and travel 100 kilometers on a single charge.
