First 2014 Cadillac ELR production test cars rolling off assembly line: The Chevy Volt proved that electric vehicles can save money and look good at the same time. The Cadillac ELR will bring this concept to the luxury market. We checked out its 2013 Chicago Auto Show debut and gave the ELR a Chicago index rank of 4 out of 5. (No car has scored 5 yet.) Although the ELR test run is strictly show and tell, consumers may be able to get their hands behind the wheel by year-end. Green Car Reports
