It will be a busy day in Westport on Monday for Gov. Dannel P. Malloy.
At noon, he appears at the entrance to Sherwood Island State Park to kick off the Centennial Celebration of Connecticut’s State Parks.
Then at 1 p.m. he goes to the Westport Metro-North station in Saugatuck for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the newly renovated eastbound stationhouse.
Solar panels have been installed on the roof of the building that not only powers the building but also four electric vehicle charging stations outside.
In the morning, Malloy will appear in Norwalk at a shopping center highlight energy efficiency upgrades being made at the complex utilizing the state’s Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy Program (C-PACE).
