Report : 2014 Nissan Qashqai to make it’s debut in November, plug-in hybrid due in 2015

The 2014 Nissan Qashqai is expected to be launched in November 2013 and there are some more details that are emerging for this vehicle.

Andy Palmer, Nissan Executive Vice President, stated that the model will have an innovative design that will be more upscale than its predecessor. Also the company has plans to launch a crossover which will resemble the Hi-Cross concept that debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

Not much details are available with respect to powerhouse that would be fitted in the 2014 Nissan Qashqai, but there are speculations that the vehicle may come with a 1.6-liter diesel as well as a supercharged 1.2-liter petrol engines that would have power generating capacity of 113 hp (84 kW) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque. There will also be a plug-in hybrid variant, but it isn’t planned to be launched before 2015.
