Autos and tech have been growing closer than ever, with touchscreen navigation systems, Bluetooth connectvitiy, and parking assist feature common options at the dealership. The 2013 Audi 8 earned a spot as the best overall high-tech car, while other models ranking included the Ford Focus Electric and Lexus LS 460. Controversial use of technology to replace traditional buttons in the 2013 Cadillac ATS also received a mention on the list.

Ranked by Edmunds.com and PCWorld/TechHive, the list sifts out the cars that feature Bluetooth as their best tech feature from high-tech autos that befit a 21st century techie.

PHOTOS: 2013’S MOST HIGH-TECH CARS

The 2013 Audi A8 led the pack, ranking as the best overall car. TechHive cited the car’s on-board WiFi system, which allows for up to eight devices to log on, as the key feature that cinched the best overall rating for the Audi.

Electric cars have been popular among high-tech early adopters, making it fitting that two out of the 10 ranked cars run gas-free.
