[BayLEAFs Announce] April SF BayLEAFs Meeting

All:
As per our usual custom, we’ll be meeting on the second Saturday of the month.  That means next weekend, April 13th (so I’m a little behind on the email notices). Our newest sponsor, SF Nissan, will be hosting us at their state-of-the-art facility at 1395 Van Ness Ave.  We have a great meeting planned and a very full agenda.
We will have the results of the 2013 Board of Directors election at this meeting.  If you haven’t voted already, please do so over the next few days—voting closes on Wednesday at Noon.  You should have received an email from the Election Inspection Committee with instructions on how to vote.  If not, and you believe you are eligible, please send an email to secretary@sfbayleafs.org.

The meeting will contain two featured presentations from Nissan.  Jeannie Lam, Nissan’s Northwest Region B2B EV Infrastructure and Business Development Manager will discuss our Partnership with Nissan to get more Bay Area companies on board with Nissan EVSEs, and preferred pricing for members on Nissan LEAFs and other Nissan Vehicles.  Then, Craig Pike, who is one of Nissan’s US LEAF Development Engineers, will lead us through the new technology and features of the 2013 LEAF.  This should be a great presentation that will take us “under the hood” and inside the new and improved technology behind the 2013 LEAF.

Of course we will start at 9:00 with refreshments and the main meeting will kickoff at 10:00 and run until about noon.

The SF Nissan facility is located on 1395 Van Ness Ave, and parking is inside the building.  Enter on the side of the facility on Bush St. and there will be attendants to show you where to park.  SF Nissan has 8 L2 chargers for use on a first-come, first served basis.  We will be meeting on the 1st floor of the facility in the back part of the sales floor in their “training” room.  If you want to park on the street, you no longer need to bring rolls of quarters—you can use your phone to pay for parking by downloading the “Pay by Phone” app and signing up (a credit card is required, though).

If you have questions or comments about this meeting, please drop us an email.  I look forward to seeing everyone on the 13th.

Howard

P.S.  With the explosion of DCQC’s in the Bay Area, San Francisco should be reachable now by most all members.  What a difference from a year ago
