New research reveals that the UK is in the process of developing electric car hotspots, with London, Glasgow and Edinburgh expected to lead the way.
According to new research from energy company British Gas, drawing on Experian’s Green Segments classification, it is predicted that London’s East End will lead the boom in electric car take-up with nearly 1 in 6 – over 36,000 – Stratford residents likely to buy one by 2020. With recent regeneration in the area, resulting in the development of a number of new eco homes, an electric car would certainly fit right in.
