USA: 6th Annual CCSU Global Environmental Sustainability Symposium Collaboration

Dear Friends & Colleagues:

I am contacting you to clarify that this meeting will take place on October 1, 2012 (9:30-11:00 AM). I hope you can join us to help us plan our 6th Annual Global Sustainability Symposium, that will take place on April 4th, 2012, with the theme of ‘Global Transportation Challenges, Human Mobility, and Sustainability’.
We hope you will join forces with us to put together a full day of events about how humans:

* transport themselves and the materials they consume;
* power the vehicles they ride and drive;
* mass transit;
* electric vehicles;
* fuel cell powered vehicles;
* transportation policy and politics;
* Carbon Offset Programs;
* pedestrian and bike friendly roadways and communities;
* and other sustainabilityissues
GESAC is a group of CCSU students, faculty, staff, and alum that have hosted numerous educational about the three pillars of sustainability (i.e., environment, economy, and social equity).
Every year, the Sustainable Symposium brings together people of all ages and backgrounds; from K-12 through college, citizens to politicians, and students to educators. Our focus is to bring people together to teach and learn about the sustainability challenges facing society.
We hope you will join for our upcoming meeting as we begin planning for the April 4th, 2013 Sustainability Symposium.
