UK: Nissan Attempts to Market LEAF to Mainstream Consumers

In order to increase sales, Nissan will soon market its LEAF to a significantly wider audience of potential buyers.
According to the UK edition of Marketing Week, Nissan is now ready to attempt to do what some critics fear is next to impossible: pitch its electric LEAF to the masses.

As Marketing Week reports, Nissan will first focus its advertising at two distinct groups: green-conscious and tech-minded consumers. The green ads will focus on zero emissions, no need for gasoline and charging options in place around the world, while the tech-minded advertisements will zero in on the LEAF’s advanced navigation, telematics and phone app systems.
