Electric charging station business solidifies

It’s not too surprising to see electric charging businesses consolidate and buyout one another. In a move to position themselves intelligent for the oncoming onslaught of electric cars, EVs and plug-in hybrids of today and tomorrow, companies such Car Charging Group, Inc. are moving in to quickly strengthen their global position.

Car Charging Group, Inc. & 350Green LLC. The Car Charging Group has just acquired 350Green that owns and operates electric car charging stations throughout the USA. This also means big business for CarCharging that will become the largest public electric car service provider in the US. With more than 1,000 EV charging service locations installed to date, the company is set to dominate this newly formed market.

According to Michael D. Farkas, CEO of CarCharging, who states: “Our acquisition of 350Green significantly extends CarCharging’s footprint in providing EV charging services and infrastructure to support increased consumer demand and growing sales of electric vehicles,” “We look forward to providing our combined partners and clients, as well as EV drivers, with the highest level of service for their EV charging needs.”

As far as Mariana Gerzanych, CEO of 350Green: “Adding 600 EV charging stations in 20 markets to CarCharging’s network will create the most robust infrastructure network in the nation,” “This partnership will be highly advantageous to the EV charging industry and will contribute significantly to the overall growth of the market.”
