Sustainable Transportation Seminar 2012 – Save the Date
SAN FRANCISCO JUNE 12TH, 2012

Electric Vehicles Technology & Infrastructure
You are hereby invited to attend the Electric Vehicles Technology and Infrastructure seminar on June 12th.

Join us at this seminar that will exchange experiences from the United States and Sweden with the hope of creating a medium in which to foster new and creative ideas in Electric Vehicle (EV) technology development – with a focus on EV manufacturing, charging and infrastructure.

EV Technology is one of the most interesting and debated areas within Sustainable Transportation. The technology has started to move at a rapid pace in recent years in the race to find and develop energy efficient and advanced engines and charging solutions. Much research and effort have been focused on creating sustainable charging and infrastructure solutions, as well as putting new car models on the market, but there is still ways to go in the hope of controlling carbon dioxide emissions and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.

The private sector in the United States has been especially strong in this area and we can expect to see further growth and innovation in the U.S. Sweden is a leader in biofuel implementation and usage and is starting to demonstrate a growing development and focus on the use of electrical vehicles and infrastructure.

The seminar will feature speakers from both the U.S. and Sweden, panel discussions and a concluding networking session with fingerfood and drinks.

Speakers include:
Gunnar Oom
Secretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sweden

Peter Carlsson
VP Supply Chain, Tesla Motors

Andy Rietschel,
CEO, Easycharge AB

Brad Berman (Moderator)
Journalist and Editor, Plugin Cars

More speakers to be confirmed

We look forward to seeing you there.
