USA: Electric vehicle communities on display

An “electric car community days” event gears up heading into this weekend in Stamford, Fairfield and other locations across Connecticut, showcasing electric vehicles and charging stations.

Sponsors include Northeast Utilities, United Illuminating Co., the Clean Cities Coalitions of Connecticut, Sustainable Stamford, and the town of Fairfield.

On Friday June 1, charging stations will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Government Center at 888 Washington Blvd. in Stamford, and at Fairfield’s Sherman Green commuter lot, with the latter location also holding the same public hours on Saturday, June 2.
