USA: Honda Fit EV Reviews

Motor Trend took the Fit EV for an early spin and came away quite impressed—especially with its ample power stating, “the Fit EV adheres to the time-honored musclecar formula of putting the engine from a big sedan in a compact…Sport mode’s map is super aggressive, delivering lusty wheelspin from rest and ample pressure on one’s backside when accelerating to pass with a sudden stab at the pedal.” Download the whole article here.
The gasoline-powered Fit has always been known as an entertaining car to drive. Automobile Magazine discovered the Fit EV continues that tradition writing, “Rather than rest on the merits of an electric drivetrain, Honda backed this green machine with exceptional road manners that make it surprisingly fun to drive.” Read the whole article here.

The Fit is no stranger to the pages of Car and Driver. It has, after all, won multiple 10Best Awards. So how did they like the electrified version? This is what they wrote: “the Fit EV shows potential…the motor continues to pull strongly even at higher velocities, which is where EVs such as the Leaf tend to fall off.” Read the whole article here.

Honda has won the first ever Best Retained Value Award for Non-Luxury Brands. In addition, four Honda models won model-level 2011 Best Retained Value Awards. Honda is no stranger to the color green. The Civic GX Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV), Civic Hybrid and Insight have been named to the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) “Greenest Vehicles of 2011” list. 2011 marked the 10th consecutive year Honda has had more than two cars named to the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) “Greenest Vehicles of 2011” list.
