GOe3 to Reveal Plans for the Interstate-based Level 2 and Level 3 Charging Stations During 2012 Earth Day Celebration at Biosphere 2

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Apr 19, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) — GOe3, a new company that is spearheading a national campaign promoting electric vehicles and energy independence is set to introduce the first 25 of a total of 500 planned charging station locations across the country this Earth Day weekend at Biosphere 2 in Oracle, Arizona.

The launch on Saturday, April 21st is a landmark event for the long-range electric car market, as these Level 2 and Level 3 electric vehicle charging stations will make interstate travel finally possible for plug-in EVs and electric vehicles. GOe3’s presentation will take place on the facility’s South Lawn at 1:45 PM.

Though charging stations for electric vehicles are already in existence, many are Level Two, 30 Amp. The charging stations soon to be unveiled by GOe3 are Level Two, 70 Amp or higher, supporting all modern electric vehicles and furthermore making them the most fully functional on the market.

GOe3 has worked with multiple partners to set up charging stations and help local communities along interstate highways I-70, I-40, I-20 and I-10 with a station placed every 50-75 miles. The company has secured a complete route from Flagstaff to Tucson.

Bruce Brimacombe, CEO and Founder of GOe3 is implementing the nation’s first electric vehicle charging network in hopes that more drivers, with the assurance of reliable interstate charging stations, will be moved to purchase electric vehicles.

Biosphere 2 will be holding an Earth Day event of its own on Saturday, April 21, in conjunction with the GOe3 launch, to celebrate the greater Earth Day theme. The facility has teamed up with the UA School of Music to celebrate the science and art of Earth Day and Earth Month through hands-on interactive displays, guided tours, exhibits and live music.

The entire event is open to the public and will feature demos of new charging stations and offer test drives of the latest electric vehicles. The public event is free for children 15 and under, adults $20. Please visit for discounted tickets.
