Bulgarian President Test Drives Chevrolet Volt Hybrid

Bulgarian President, Rosen Plevneliev will test drive Monday the US-made Chevrolet Volt hybrid automobile.

The test drive will begin at 11:30 am, the presidential press office informs. It will be held if front of the main entrance of the presidential office on 2 “Dondukov” boulevard.

In addition to driving the Chevy, the President will learn in detail its technical features.

US President, Barack Obama, already took a look at the vehicle and said he was thinking of buying one for himself after his second term in office.

Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle manufactured by General Motors, and sold as the Opel/Vauxhall Ampera in Europe. Volt sales in the US began in mid-December 2010 and in international markets since September 2011. Customer deliveries of the Opel Ampera in Europe began in February 2012.
