The Chevrolet Volt is America’s savior, not because it will save the baby polar bears, but because it’s something that the country and the people that live in it can be proud of, due to its engineering brilliance and fun to drive nature.
Now, thanks to the good people over at Left Lane News, the world will now know about the Chevrolet Volt, as well as a few other vehicles with Volt technology. While speaking with the Chevrolet Volt’s product communications manager, Rob Peterson, the automotive website was able to confirm that General Motors will sell the Volt is certain markets, as well as the Opel Ampera and Vauxhall Ampera.
Peterson explained that “Although Europe is in a sense one giant singular market, there are also many sub-markets within that have individual tastes and preferences.” Peterson continued, “As such, GM will bring the Chevrolet Volt to Europe and sell it in key markets where the Chevy brand is strongest.”
