USA: World Symposium of Electric Flight

The World Symposium of Electric Aircraft will be held on Friday, July 30. The Symposium, sponsored by GE Aviation, will feature influential industry leaders discussing electric aircraft propulsion, offering what they envision as the future of flight. Participants include:

Burt Rutan – Founder, Scaled Composites
Tian Yu – Founder, Yuneec
Randy Babbit – FAA Administrator
Chet Fuller – President, GE Aviation Commercial Systems
Bertrand Piccard – Solar Impulse
John Monnett – Founder, Sonex Aircraft
Mark Beierle – Founder, Earthstar Aircraft
Randall Fishman – Founder, Electric Aircraft Corporation
Erik Lindbergh – Lindbergh Foundation, LEAP Prize
Dave Nadler – Antares

The Symposium is free and open to the public. Register to attend this free event by following the link and selecting the sessions you are interested in attending:

Morning Session – “The Dream of Flight” (9 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.)
Lunch Session – “The Voice of Experience: Electric Aircraft Builders” (12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
Lunch – Prepaid Box Lunch (price will be $10) – sign up for lunch ends July 16
Afternoon Session – “Putting Vision to Practice” (1:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
