MONTREAL — A consortium of carmakers and experts has published a so-called road map to 2018, when they hope 500,000 electric vehicles will be buzzing along Canadian roads.
The guide highlights some of the big challenges and the tantalizing business opportunities for what could be humanity’s next major method of day-to-day transportation.
The report was presented to the federal government at a three-day conference and trade show in Montreal promoting battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
