Nearly 75 percent of British motorists would drive an electric car

LONDON (Reuters) – Nearly three-quarters of British motorists would consider driving an electric car, a survey has found.

Whether for “green” reasons or to escape congestion charges and the ever-rising cost of fuel, 71 percent of drivers would consider making the switch, it said on Friday.

US is probably lagging in this type of awareness.
Most of my friends have no idea why EV make sense.
But this should change as both candidates are
on the EV wagon and that become media
blitz. By the end of this campaign, I think
US will be more aware of what we knew for
a long time. I suspect the shift is already happening
as people are holding off buying, waiting for EV
    or Plug-in.

This web site is pulling good info on
EV and Plugin. Info is rather timely too.
I subscribe to RSS feed to my.yahoo.com
