GM eyes Merseyside plant for electric car

Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port plant on Merseyside is being studied as the possible European production centre for General Motors’ revolutionary Volt electric car, it emerged yesterday.

  GM is looking global with Volt. That is the
  commitment I like to see.

  Actually if you paid attention to the EV news lately,
  the trend is unmistakable. All things are pointing to
  EV revolution, but this time no turning back.
