Google.org invests $2.75M in Aptera Motors

Google.org is investing $2.75 million into electric-vehicle maker Aptera and battery start-up ActaCell. The announcement, which follows Google’s request for proposals from companies with electric car technologies, came Tuesday during the Plug-In 2008 conference in San Jose, Calif. Source: CNET

    This is rather interesting. Google.org invested in Think
    Electric cars, now Aptera. It must be interested in
    the EV industry.

    Bet your dollars that this car will change how we look at cars as they
    are today. The auto giants are sitting pretty with all the repair
    business. Look, they are not going eat their own lunch if they could help
    it.
